Deaths investigated in the setting of a hoard can seem overwhelming if you're not familiar with the challenges of these investigations. This course aims to demystify the hoarding scene by providing the student with a focused look into the scene findings and decedent characteristics unique to these cases. Students who take this course will explore decedent psychology, scene findings, body condition, and cause and manner of death. They will also take a look into one of the most famous hoarding death scene responses of all time: the Collyer Brothers.
